If you are not my dad, *CONGRATULATIONS!!*.  You are the 00000001st visitor who is not my dad.  Otherwise, hi dad!

I am a PhD student in the Department of Geography at the University of British Columbia.  In my research, I use remotely sensed data to study fluvial processes acting on glacier and icesheet surfaces and try to understand what controls the distribution of these processes.  I am interested in a wide range of surface processes and the methodologies and technologies we can use to understand them.  More broadly, I am interested in the intersection between science, technology and society, and the role of Geography as a discipline in the institution of Science.
